Linux platform I worked on sfor a while

by

Hello everyone I'm Fab. I teach Linux and cybersecurity, and for the last few months I have been building MOSHELL on the side, no team, no funding support, just me after work doing something I really like.

The idea came from watching people and students trying to learn Linux through videos and articles and just... not retaining any of it. Also I have aeen a lot of student to even use a terminal the first time .So I built a terminal that runs entirely in the browser. Real filesystem, about 35 commands that actually work, and missions at the end of each lesson that check whether you actually did the thing instead of just letting you skip ahead. The whole focus is on people who are truly brand new to this, the ones who don't even know where to start. Not another tool for people who already know their way around a terminal. If you have opened a terminal once and had no idea what to type, this is built for you.

It is live on Product Hunt today. First six lessons are free if you want to poke around and break things.

Happy to answer questions, especially if you've tried to teach yourself Linux before and hit a wall somewhere.
