LinkedIn vs. X vs. Threads: Where are your launch updates actually performing best?

by•

Hey product hunt community 👋

I wanted to start a discussion around multi-platform social distribution.

One trend I’ve noticed across several recent launches is how unpredictable post reach has become. A launch update that completely flops on X might get huge engagement on LinkedIn, or spark great technical discussions on Threads. Because user behavior varies so much across networks, cross-posting across all three seems necessary to capture full reach, though it has some friction points:

  • Re-formatting overhead: Adapting the same core update across different interfaces takes time away from user onboarding and bug fixes.

  • Tracking conversations: Once posts are live, keeping track of where discussions are taking place across platforms gets fragmented very quickly.

For those actively promoting their startups or launches on socials:

  • Do you cross-post identical updates to LinkedIn, X, and Threads, or do you tailor content specifically for each audience?

  • How do you centralize and track user conversations once updates are live across multiple apps?

To help solve this workflow headache for my own launches, I built elov8: it lets you publish once across LinkedIn, X, and Threads, while automatically generating a single "table of contents" page to aggregate all your live posts (similar to a Linktree, but specifically built for posts).

If anyone wants to test it out while sharing their workflow, we launched on Product Hunt today:

Curious to hear how others approach their social distribution stack during a launch!
