Is YC’s Matching Platform open if we’re not accepted yet? We need a CEO (Web Dev)

Hey Product Hunt community 👋

We’re building an open-source internationalization library for web developers (React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, and soon Angular).

Our current founder, @aymeric_pineau , has been working full-time on this solution for 1.5 years. Right now, he’s wearing both CEO and CTO hats. But his goal is to focus 100% on the CTO role for driving technical vision, supervising development, and growing the codebase.

That’s why we’re looking for a new CEO cofounder (with a strong Web Dev background) who can step in and fully take on the CEO role, while also providing technical support to the CTO.

👉 Founder & future CTO (Aymeric):

• Drives the technical vision & product development

• Manages GitHub contributions (PRs, issues, tech discussions)

• Maintains infrastructure (CI/CD, hosting, monitoring)

• Ensures technical documentation and contributor support

👉 Future Cofounder - CEO (with Web Dev experience):

• Support the CTO on development and GitHub contributions:

-> Review pull requests and issues

-> Engage in technical discussions with contributors

-> Help onboard contributors to the project

• Take part in defining and updating the roadmap

• Contribute to growth & visibility (GitHub stars, forks, Reddit, X, etc.)

• Build and grow the community (Discord, GitHub, forums)

• Develop external collaborations (open-source projects, partners, contributors)

• Lead business & communication (funding, partnerships, community management)

We’ve already tried platforms like CoFounder Labs, Cofondateur.fr, Findyourcofounder and so on ... we’re wondering if it’s legitimate to post this on the Y Combinator Co-Founder Matching Platform, even though we haven’t yet been accepted.

💡 Question :

Where would you recommend looking to meet this type of hybrid CEO/Web Dev cofounder who could join and be 100% focused on our open-source SaaS project?
