Inspired by Product Hunt: Building catapulta.lat to boost launches in LatAm

I am a huge admirer of Product Hunt and the incredible impact it has had in promoting the culture of launching and early feedback globally. Product Hunt is a significant reference for tech trends and is ideal for generating visibility, traffic, and gathering valuable feedback.

This admiration inspired me to build https://catapulta.lat.

What is Catapulta? It is a (WIP) launch and discovery platform designed specifically for the new wave of digital innovation in Latin America. I am not looking to be a simple alternative to Product Hunt, but rather to serve as a “pre-launch” or a complementary space.

I believe creators and startups in LatAm face unique challenges in gaining visibility, crucial feedback, and building a solid network within our diverse region. Often, the struggle to stand out and validate innovation can be exhausting and costly.

That’s why, with Catapulta, I want to offer a platform entirely focused on the LatAm ecosystem. My aim is to highlight innovative tech solutions for our region’s needs, facilitate free launching to a passionate regional audience, and foster an active community to strengthen our tech ecosystem together.

I am building Catapulta in an open and transparent manner, listening to the real needs of the LatAm tech community.
