Idea Rewind Android beta: does resurfacing old notes help you finish an idea?

by•

I'm the developer of Idea Rewind, a notebook that combines capturing a thought with returning to it later. The iOS app is available, and Android version 0.2.0 (39) is in Google Play closed testing.

I'd like feedback on a product question: when an old note resurfaces as a review card, does it help you continue an unfinished idea, or does it feel like another item to dismiss? If you already save scattered thoughts, what context would make a resurfaced note useful?

You can capture text, photos, recordings and videos, then organize notes into cabinets. Practical beta feedback is welcome too: start a note, switch apps and return; reopen a short recording after restarting; try the review cards after a few days.

Local capture, search, bookmarks, basic review and four custom cabinets are free. Optional Pro features exist, but these tasks require no purchase and checkout is disabled in this beta. Local notes need no Idea Rewind account or phone number; Play enrollment needs a Google account.

I'm looking for volunteers aged 16+ who can stay opted in for 14 consecutive days and try the app during that time. No public ratings, reviews, rewards, payment or test exchange is requested.

Eligible Play account regions: Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, UK and US. Use the same Google account to join the group, opt in on Play, then install from that page:
