I made a habit tracker where the progress bar is a pixel pet (solo, no ads, no account)
Every habit app I tried made me feel worse the moment I broke a streak: a red X, a counter back to zero. So I built the opposite.
Pixbu: you start with an egg. Do small things for yourself (drink water, take a walk, breathe for a minute) and it hatches, grows through stages, and evolves into one of six creatures with its own signature animations. Miss a day and nothing dies, nothing resets. It just waits for you.
Everything is local-first: no account, no sign-up, no server, no ads. Home-screen widget, focus timer with ambient sound, step counter, guided routines for the days when starting is the hard part, and a goal piggy bank. 6 languages, Android and iOS.

Launching here on Sunday. I am a solo dev, so brutal feedback on the landing page or the first-run experience is worth far more to me than a nice comment.
