I have no idea where our day 1 upvotes will come from?

We're planning our launching soon.
I keep reading different stats from searches - some say your personal network drives everything, some say cold PH traffic is underrated..
I'd like to hear from real people, who had that experience here in PH.
Questions for those who've launched:
- What % came from your existing audience (linkedin and so on)?
- Did any specific channel surprise you?
- How much did organic PH discovery actually contribute?

Don't launch before you've prepared. If you don't have a network of friends and a community, it's not impossible to climb the rankings, but it's definitely very difficult. Of course, the quality and presentation of your product are very important, but it's meaningless without ranking and appearing in front of organic visitors.
In this context, I will tell you my estimated formula for daily ranking according to my logic. Of course, this is not absolutely correct, these are my opinions. And there are many variables, such as which day of the week the launch takes place.
- If the launch stays at 1-10 likes, it will get lost in the lower ranks.
- A launch with around 50 likes can get you to a ranking between 20-30.
- The goal is to get close to 80-100 likes and enter the top 15. This is where you appear in front of organic visitors and you inform subscribers via email. After that, if the product is good, it grows organically. It also consistently appears in daily, weekly, and monthly rankings throughout the month.
In conclusion, according to my estimate, you need 50-60 personal community supporters to start with. This is very easy for companies or those with existing communities, but it's very difficult for individual developers.
@hanry21 Thank you very much for sharing your opinion.
For small team of two it's really difficult to build a product and make community at once.
Now we are trying to prepare for launch day as needed, hope it will work )
