I had a perfume problem. Unfortunately, I decided to solve it.

I’m Sahil from a small village in Himachal. 10 days ago, I didn’t know how web apps worked, couldn’t code and didn’t even know what Product Hunt was. I was trying to start a perfume brand and got stuck in the same mess every new founder probably hates: suppliers, oils, bottles, packaging, pricing, legal stuff… 20 tabs open and still no idea what to do.

So I came up with banalo.business

There was just one problem: my friend, who could actually build it, was busy with his own product 😭

So I did the only thing I knew how to do.

I started selling the idea before we even had the product. I posted about it on social media.
Within 72 hours, 300+ people messaged saying they wanted it.

I showed my friend. Then basically moved into his workspace until we launched. 😂

2 days ago, Banalo went live.

6 people have already paid ₹499.

The product is still rough. I know there’s a lot to improve.

But I learned something I didn’t know 10 days ago:

You don’t always need the product first. Sometimes you just need to find out if people want it badly enough.

Now the real fun starts.

What would you build next if this was yours?
Tell me what’s missing, what’s useless or what you’d completely rip apart.

I’m actually listening...👀
