I built sticky notes that hide on your Windows screen edge (waitlist open, 50% off at launch)

by•

Hi everyone 👋 I'm Sridhar, a solo developer.

I kept losing quick notes behind 20 open windows. Regular sticky notes covered my work, and notes apps got buried. So I built HideNStick Notes for Windows.

How it works:

• Your notes stay hidden on the screen edge, so they never get in your way

• Bump the edge twice (or press Ctrl+Alt+N) and they slide out

• Hover a tab to open a note and just type

• Move away and everything tucks back into the edge

• Need a note to stay visible? Pin it on top of any app

• Ctrl+Alt+C grabs selected text from any app into a note

• Ctrl+F searches every note and tab

No account, no cloud, works fully offline. Your notes stay on your PC.

Built with Tauri (Rust) and React, about 5 MB to install.

It's coming soon to the Microsoft Store, with an early bird offer of 50% off at launch. If you'd like a heads-up the day it's live, you can join the waitlist here:

I'd love honest feedback: would the edge-bump idea fit into your workday?
