I built a website Front Desk instead of another AI chatbot

Hi everyone,

I'm building Uttar, a 24/7 Front Desk for business websites.

The idea is simple: most small service businesses spend hours answering the same website enquiries over and over again:

  • Pricing

  • Availability

  • Bookings

  • Services offered

  • Policies

The usual options seem to be either:

  • install live chat and have someone answer manually, or

  • buy a large customer support platform designed for much bigger companies.

Neither felt like the right fit for many growing businesses.

So I built something narrower:

- Handles repetitive website enquiries automatically
- Answers only using approved business information
- Never guesses or improvises
- Captures leads for follow-up when needed
- Logs unanswered questions so coverage improves over time
- Flat pricing with no per-conversation costs

Think of it as an interactive FAQ combined with a website Front Desk rather than another AI chatbot trying to answer everything.

It's still early and I'm currently looking for the first few businesses willing to try it on a real website and give honest feedback.
