I built a way to match your product with the exact real people you need
I kept running into the same problem while building things. Making the product is only one part of the job. The moment you need real people to test something, give feedback, reproduce a problem, try a workflow or simply see whether what you built makes sense to the right audience, everything suddenly becomes manual again.
You either post everywhere, ask friends, pay for broad traffic or use a generic tester pool and hope the people you get are close enough to the audience you actually care about.
That is what I built NearbyCrew around.
You tell NearbyCrew what you made, who you need and what you want those people to do. The request could be something very specific, like finding puzzle players to try a new game mechanic, ecommerce operators to test a CSV import, parents hiring a nanny for the first time to walk through an onboarding flow, or developers with a certain setup to reproduce a bug.
NearbyCrew matches the request with real people in the network and turns it into a paid mission.
The part I care about most is making distribution more precise. Instead of simply saying, “show this to more people,” the idea is to be able to say, “put this in front of these exact people and have them do this exact thing.”
We recently added an API too, so products can trigger that process directly, but that is only one way into the same network. The core idea is still simple: match what you built with the right real people when you actually need them.

I’d be curious to hear what kind of people you are trying to reach for whatever you are building right now.
