I built a free TradingView alternative with an AI chart copilot — solo, launching tomorrow
Not really a promo post, more of a "I finally shipped the thing" post.
For a while I traded on the side, and two things always bugged me.
First, half the useful chart stuff was locked behind a subscription. I just wanted a couple more indicators and to export my data without paying monthly.
Second, honestly, I'm not that great at reading charts. It takes years to get good, and I kept second-guessing my entries.
So somewhere along the way I started building my own thing instead of complaining about it. The idea was simple: make the charting part free, and put an AI on top that looks at the chart and tells you what it sees - patterns, where support and resistance are, roughly where an entry/stop/target would sit. Basically the second opinion I wished I had at 1am staring at a candle.
The part I'm weirdly proud of: instead of the AI just sounding confident, I made it keep a public track record of how often its forecasts actually land. Felt wrong to ship "trust me bro" predictions.
It's live here if you're curious (no login, works on crypto/forex/stocks): traderai.cloud/chart
Anyway, it's been mostly me, a lot of coffee, and staying up late carrying me through the parts I'm bad at. Launching it properly tomorrow and I'm equal parts excited and nauseous lol.
Genuine question for this crowd: for those of you who've shipped solo - how did you deal with the "is this even good enough to show people" feeling right before launch? Trying not to talk myself out of it tonight.
