Nodarama Verbatim Beta is almost complete, and its most stable and capable version yet is available now.

It includes several features that can help vibe coders reduce token usage—especially those who rely on AI to rewrite entire files rather than making targeted code revisions.

Whether you pay for unlimited generation or not, AI computation still consumes energy. Reducing unnecessary review, rewriting, and repeated correction can reduce wasted computation—good for efficiency, and potentially better for the planet even when it does not directly affect your wallet.

1. Make scoped edits without manually changing your code

Nodarama Verbatim lets you apply narrow, targeted edits without manually locating and changing the code yourself.

This is especially helpful for founders and developers without a traditional coding background. The usual choices are to make the change yourself and risk breaking something, or ask AI to rewrite the entire file. Both can create unnecessary troubleshooting, rework, and cost.

2. Give AI clear editing contracts

Verbatim includes easy-to-share contracts that explain the most efficient ways for AI to edit your code, so you do not have to repeatedly train or instruct it.

These contracts encourage AI to use the narrowest suitable editing method. That reduces how much code it needs to review and rewrite while also limiting code drift and unintended changes elsewhere in the project.
