Hi Product Hunt!
We’re EXTRALOGIA, a footwear brand exploring what shoes could look and feel like when we rethink how they’re designed and made.
We’re excited to introduce ourselves to the Product Hunt community and share what we’ve been working on.
So, What Are We Building?
We’re building 3D-printed footwear designed for everyday life.
Traditional shoes are usually built by combining many different materials and components. We wanted to explore a different approach: what if the structure of the shoe itself could become the design?
That idea led us to 3D printing.
With 3D printing, we can experiment with open geometries, continuous structures, and sculptural forms that are difficult to achieve through conventional footwear manufacturing.
The result is footwear that looks quite different from the shoes you might normally see.
And honestly, that’s exactly what we wanted.
Why Footwear?
We spend a huge part of our lives in shoes, but footwear design hasn't fundamentally changed as quickly as many other areas of product design.
We started EXTRALOGIA because we believe there is room to experiment.
Not just with how shoes look, but with how they are structured, manufactured, and experienced.
Our goal is not to make shoes that simply look “futuristic.”
We want to create footwear that is comfortable, functional, distinctive, and genuinely useful in everyday life.
What We’re Working On
Our current collection explores several different ideas around movement, transition, and recovery.
One of our main designs is FORM 01 — a sculpted 3D-printed slip-on built around a continuous structure and open geometry.
It’s designed to be easy to put on, comfortable to wear, and visually different from conventional footwear.
We’re also developing other concepts across the collection, including TRANSIT and EASE, each exploring a different relationship between footwear, movement, and everyday life.
We’re Still Building
EXTRALOGIA is not a finished story.
We’re still experimenting with materials, structures, designs, manufacturing, and the overall experience of wearing 3D-printed footwear.
And that’s one of the reasons we wanted to share what we’re doing here on Product Hunt.
We’d love to hear from people who are interested in 3D printing, footwear, product design, fashion, manufacturing, and new ways of making everyday products.
