Built FocusAI solo as a student — now live on Product Hunt 🚀
by•
After months of building alone from my dorm room in Mumbai, @FocusAI is finally live on Product Hunt today.
I built it because I realized most productivity tools help people organize goals, but very few help them consistently execute.
@FocusAI takes a goal, breaks it into actionable tasks, schedules them automatically, and adapts when you fall behind instead of making you restart everything.
Still early. Still learning. Still refreshing the Product Hunt page every few minutes 😅
Would genuinely appreciate any support or feedback from fellow builders here:

Happy to answer questions about the build, product decisions, or solo founder journey as well 🙏

Hey Suren 👋 Fellow founder here - Im building Clipency. Wanted to drop some real feedback since you asked for it. First, the story is genuinely compelling. Final year student, building in public, scratching your own itch
that's the kind of origin that resonates. The positioning ("From Goal to Done") is clean
A few things I noticed that are worth fixing
The /dashboard route loads without any loading state protection - if someone pastes the URL directly, the app flashes before redirecting (or doesn't redirect at all depending on auth state). Classic race condition on the auth guard
On mobile, the meta viewport is set correctly but the app feels like it was designed desktop-first - the calendar integration UX in particular will be painful on a phone screen
One bigger thing: you're giving this away free with no credit card. That's great for adoption, but you have zero data capture beyond sign-up. No NPS, no exit intent, no usage milestone prompts. You'll wake up one day with 500 users and no idea which 10 actually got value
I'm building creator economy . would love to connect. What's your LinkedIn?
