Built an AI tool for editing text in images — looking for feedback

Hi makers,

I’ve been working on an AI tool for a problem I kept running into: changing text in an existing image without rebuilding the whole design.

The difficult part isn’t just replacing the text. It’s keeping the original font style, color, position, layout, and background looking natural.

I built the imagetexteditor.dev editor around this idea. You can upload an image, choose the text you want to change, enter new text, and generate an edited version.

I’m currently trying to improve the editing quality and workflow, and I’d really appreciate feedback from other makers.

In particular:

• Does the editing workflow feel intuitive?

• What types of images would you use this for?

• What would make the result feel more natural?
