Built a free "scan my QR → see my profile" page. Honest question: does anyone actually need this?

Hey Beautiful People,

Posting this for honest feedback, not signups or hype.

The problem that kept coming up:

Whenever I met someone and wanted to share who I am and where to find me, it always felt clunky. Handing out a phone number, juggling a few different social links, business cards that end up in the bin. I kept wanting one small thing — show a QR code, the other person points their normal phone camera at it, and they land on a clean page with a short bio and links.

What I built:

A simple page where you claim a , get a QR code, and anyone who scans it opens your profile. No app to install, nothing to download. The scanner runs right in the browser.

The honest part:

I've built this on my own, and I'm at the stage where I genuinely can't tell if this is a real problem for other people or just a solution looking for a problem. It's possible link-in-bio tools already cover this and I've just stuck a QR code on the same idea.

So I'd really value your real take — good or bad:

- Would you actually use something like this, and when?

- Is the QR angle genuinely useful, or just a gimmick?

- What would make you pick this over a plain link-in-bio?

It's completely free to create a profile, so if you want to poke around and tell me what's broken or pointless, that would honestly help a lot.

Thanks for reading — tear it apart.
