Building tools for users who don’t code
When I started building SolanaForge, I originally focused on solving one simple problem: making token creation easier without requiring users to write code.
The obvious approach was to support only one ecosystem and keep everything narrow.
But as I talked with builders and explored the space, I realized many people do not think in terms of one blockchain. They think about choosing the right network for their community, project, or idea.
That changed how I approached the product.
Instead of only building a single-purpose tool, I started thinking about how a simpler token creation experience could work across different ecosystems while keeping the process beginner-friendly.
It also created new challenges:
How do you keep the experience simple while supporting more options?
How much flexibility should you give users before complexity becomes a problem?
Should tools for builders focus on one ecosystem deeply or support multiple ecosystems?
Curious how other makers approach this: have you ever expanded your product scope and found that the extra complexity actually improved the product?
