Building AI for furniture e-commerce. Let's compare notes on what's actually working

Building AI for furniture e-commerce has been eye-opening.

Most AI conversations seem to focus on coding, content creation, and productivity. But after spending time talking to furniture stores and studying how customers shop online, I've noticed a different challenge.

Finding the right furniture isn't always straightforward.

Customers often browse dozens of products, compare styles, materials, colors, and dimensions, and still leave without making a decision. Unlike many purchases, furniture is highly visual and personal.

I'm building , an AI shopping assistant designed to help furniture and home decor stores improve product discovery and create a more guided shopping experience.

The biggest lesson so far is that store owners care less about AI itself and more about whether it helps customers find products faster and increases conversions.

If you're building in e-commerce or AI, I'd love to compare notes:

What industry are you building for?

What's the biggest challenge you've faced finding customers?

What's one thing you've learned that surprised you after talking to users?

Always interested in learning from other builders and hearing different perspectives.
