An AI call decides who gets paid. Bad idea?

by

Hey PH! 👋 Working on ShareViral () and would love this community's honest take before our launch.

The problem we're chasing: businesses buy "leads" that were sold to 4 competitors, filled in by bots, or never consented to be called (which, since the FCC's one-to-one consent rule, is a per-call legal penalty in the US). Meanwhile creators with 5k–50k followers earn $0 — too small for sponsorships, and affiliate programs only pay on completed sales.

Our approach:

  • Brand budgets lock into escrow before creators promote anything

  • Every lead gets a recorded 2–3 min AI qualification call within minutes of submitting a form

  • Money moves automatically only on verified results — with a consent record naming the specific brand

  • No follower minimums anywhere. 5-layer click-fraud filtering, shown openly.

What I'd genuinely love feedback on:

  1. Would you trust an AI call outcome to gate payments? What guardrails would you demand?

  2. Creators — does "paid per verified result" beat "wait until you're big enough for sponsors"?

  3. If you've bought leads before: what would make you switch from your current vendor?

Brutal honesty welcome — that's what we're here for. 🙏
