A new way to manage coffee shops and cafés

by

We’re getting ready to on Product Hunt.

is a platform built for coffee shop operations, with tools for inventory, batch prep, recipes, checklists, scheduling, clock-ins, and daily team workflows.

A lot of cafés still run important parts of the business through spreadsheets, notes, group chats, and memory. PrepIt is being built to make those systems more connected, more reliable, and easier to manage day to day.

Still early, but we’re excited to share what we’ve been building.

Launching soon on . Would love your support and feedback when we go live.

Cafes are a strange case because the operations look simple from outside, a few dozen orders a day, but they generate constant small variation. Weather changes foot traffic, one local event doubles orders for an afternoon, a regular's schedule shifts and their usual order disappears for two weeks then comes back. All of that looks like a signal even when nothing is actually wrong. I ran a cafe myself, and full disclosure, that experience is part of why I build FounderFlow now, so this is a space I think about often. The hard part was never tracking inventory or shifts, it was knowing which small thing on a given day actually needed a human decision versus which one would resolve on its own. Curious how PrepIt is thinking about that distinction as you get closer to launch.
