When I started Select Supply, it came from a pretty simple frustration: sourcing high-quality products shouldn’t feel like detective work. I kept seeing brands, creators, and small teams waste enormous time navigating messy vendor lists, inconsistent communication, and quality uncertainty. I wanted to build something that removed that friction, a place where people could instantly access vetted manufacturers and trustworthy supply-chain partners without needing to already “know someone.”
The problem I set out to solve was clarity and confidence. Too often, the hardest part isn’t designing a great product, it’s finding the right partner to make it real. Select Supply exists to bridge that gap with transparency, reliability, and speed.
As we built toward this launch, the approach evolved a lot. At first, I thought the biggest challenge would be collecting great vendors. It turned out the real opportunity was in standardizing the experience: creating better verification, clearer information, and smoother workflows so people don’t just find suppliers, they understand them. Listening to early users shifted our focus toward usability and trust, and that ultimately shaped the product you see today.
