What is the most convincing scam message you have ever received?

I am building Seerie, an offline scam checker for India, and the hardest part is not detection. It is that the good scams do not look like scams at all.

The ones that fool people are calm, specific, and reference something real. A courier that actually is delayed. A bank name you actually use. A job you actually applied for.

So I am curious what has landed in your inbox. What is the most convincing scam message or call you have received, and what was the detail that made you doubt it, or that almost made you believe it?
