Most brands don't appear in ChatGPT answers for their own category, even when they rank #1 on Google.
We ran controlled AI visibility audits across client accounts: same prompts, same platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini), before and after structured Reddit participation.
Finding: fewer than 30% of brands appear in AI answers for their own category on the first test. After 4 6 weeks of credible Reddit engagement, that changes , and it shows up in branded search volume, not referral traffic.

A lot of teams still think about SEO only in terms of rankings and traffic. Lately though, it feels like another layer is becoming important: whether your content gets picked up inside AI answers at all.
We ve been watching this more closely and one thing stands out: content that ranks is not always the content that gets cited.
Curious how other people here see it. Are you actively thinking about AI visibility yet, or still mostly focused on traditional SEO?
