SecureViewPDF is a lightweight tool I built after facing a common freelancer problem: Once you send a PDF to a client, you completely lose control. It gets downloaded, forwarded, reshared — and there’s no way to “switch it off.” I wanted something simple, affordable, and focused on freelancers. But most PDF-control tools were enterprise-level or expensive. So I built my own solution.

Hi everyone! 👋 Thanks for checking out SecureViewPDF. The idea came from a very real problem I kept seeing around me. A lot of freelancers — especially architects and designers — share PDFs with clients, but once the file is sent, they completely lose control. Clients forward the document to other people… Sometimes share it in WhatsApp groups… Sometimes compare work with another vendor… And the original creator has no way to “pull back” the file. Most existing solutions I found were either: • too expensive • complicated • built for enterprise teams • required heavy setup or accounts So I wanted to make something extremely simple: • upload PDF • get a view-only link • revoke anytime • no login • no dashboards • no learning curve Just a small tool that protects freelancers and gives them control again.
