Startup Equity Profit Simulator by Secfi - See the potential after-tax value of your options and shares

Hey Product Hunt! We're back on PH to publicly launch our Profit Simulator tool. A lot of us in the community own stock options and shares in the startups we work for. It has always been incredibly difficult to understand their value, and know how much we stand to gain in after-tax profits when we get the chance to sell the shares. We built this tool to help startup employees get a better perspective on how much they could potentially profit, as well as understand how much taxes you would need to pay in this scenario. We've also added some simple strategies that could reduce this tax bill. This profit simulator is still very much in beta, and we'd love to hear from you how we could improve upon it! Thanks both! We are tweaking a couple of things to the product but the most interesting addition we are making (more clear) is the ability to show how the liquidation preference implication on your exit. This is such an important and misunderstood concept by most employees (the fact that you don't get paid if the VC investors don't hit certain returns on their investment). For a whole list of companies its included (not all yet). Would love to get thoughts on that! thanks
