I built SeaFinance from lived frustration, not theory. As a seafarer, I saw high-earning officers struggle with cash-flow gaps, NRI day miscounts, compliance anxiety, and poor financial visibility—despite doing “everything right.” Existing finance apps assumed monthly income and ignored maritime realities. Initially, I tried to solve everything at once. The launch process forced discipline. User conversations pushed me to strip features down to one core job: give clarity before stress hits. The product evolved from a broad finance tool into a focused system built around runway, status, and decision-timing—designed specifically for irregular, contract-based lives.
