I built this because app blockers for iOS don't work.
iOS is an environment where users can uninstall any blocker with two taps. So no real blocking is actually happening, because the system is relying on the user's will not to uninstall.
ScrollBump takes a different approach. Instead of blocking apps entirely, it blocks your access for just a few seconds after a set amount of usage. That means you still get in when you truly need the app, but when you’re sliding into mindless doomscrolling, those constant interruptions make the habit frustrating enough to break.
