Scout was inspired by years in recruitment watching great candidates disappear into ATS “black holes” and only be rediscovered by luck months later, wasting time and budget on sourcing from scratch. The problem we are solving is simple: SMB HR teams already have strong, pre-vetted talent in their databases, but poor search, messy data, and limited analytics make it almost impossible to find and re-engage them when new roles open. We’re building Scout as the product we wished we had—combining CV parsing, AI-powered semantic search, natural-language queries, and rediscovery analytics into one clean layer on top of any ATS or CSV export, so teams can instantly surface and prioritize the best matches they already know.
