Hello PH! 👋 I heard this community enjoys a good *hunt*, so I brought you Scavos: The fast, easy scavenger hunt app. My name is Adam, founder and creator of Scavos. Scavos is a free mobile app that lets you host and play virtual scavenger hunts with your friends, family, or co-workers. A passion project ❤ I first got the idea for Scavos at the height of the pandemic. I wanted to throw a birthday party for my wife, but vaccines weren't available yet and so having a big in-person event wasn't something we could do. Wanting to surprise her, I brainstormed with her friends and we decided to organize a virtual scavenger hunt. I looked around for an app we could use, but the only usable products I could find were prohibitively expensive. And so, I set out to build Scavos. Scavenger hunts are a unique type of fun. They can add a layer of excitement and adventure to virtually any event. For example: 🍖 backyard cookouts 🚢 group / family vacations 🛣 road trips 👰 weddings 🍻 happy hours 🏡 team-building activities 🥳 birthday parties 🥂 date nights & anniversaries ...the list is endless. With Scavos, creating and playing photo scavenger hunts has never been easier. Anyone with an iOS (14+) or Android (8+) device can join your games from anywhere. Get started fast 🚀: 1) Download the free Scavos app from Google Play or the App Store (available in the US and Canada) 2) Create a game from one of our professionally curated and play-tested scavenger hunt templates, or start with a completely blank slate. Either way, game hosts can make each game their own by customizing game missions. 3) Share your app-generated invite code with your friends, family, co-workers, or anyone else you'd like to join your game. Play your game 🤳: Players that have joined your game complete missions by taking photos of each mission prompt (e.g. "Someone wearing a silly hat"). Once a mission has been completed, the photograph is shared to the game's live-streaming activity feed. It's that easy! Product roadmap 🗺: We have a lot of new features planned for Scavos.
