Hey Product Hunt! I'm Alex, maker of saxi.ai. I kept running into the same problem: I needed a free API for a project, searched through GitHub lists, and half the links were dead, docs were missing, or auth requirements were unclear. With AI agents now needing reliable tool access for search, geocoding, scraping, translation, and more, that problem got a lot more painful. So I built saxi.ai. It takes the best open-source API lists (public-api-lists, public-apis, tools-collection), validates every entry, and adds structured tagging by capability, category, auth type, and protocol. Right now there are 1,500+ APIs across 68 categories and 16 capability types. The whole project is open source: github.com/alexander-schneider/saxi.ai A few things I'd love feedback on: - What categories or capabilities are missing? - Are there free APIs you use regularly that aren't listed yet? - What would make this more useful for your agent or dev workflow? If you find a broken listing or want to add an API, PRs and issues on GitHub are always welcome. No login required to browse. No paywall. Just data. Thanks for checking it out!
