Hey all – I hope this can be useful! I know that there are so many people out there who don't follow politics closely enough to understand all the nuances of what's happening on the Supreme Court, but know how important it is and want to do something. I put together this simple site using Carrd by @ajlkn, and inspired by the "How to Help" site that was tearing up the Twitters after George Floyd was murdered. There's a whole area of the site that provides an explanation of what's going on – including an ELI5-type explanation of the current U.S. Senate makeup about the strategy around appointing a Supreme Court justice. Each suggested action has a brief explanation of the efficacy, giving you some context about how important it is in the big scheme of things – this coming from someone who works in politics and has experience lobbying Congress! The site itself doesn't have a registration (although you can sign up for mobile alerts if you want the best news about what's going on with the process) so no additional logins to worry about. And I've designed the site and focused on things you can do from your phone so it's easy to share and act. Anyway, let me know what you think!
