Would you use an app that interrupts impulse purchases?
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm Cyprus, 27, and I've spent the past year building Savd while working full-time in corporate finance.
The idea actually came from my own spending habits. I realized I wasn't always buying things because I wanted them. Sometimes I just enjoyed the experience of shopping, especially those random late-night purchases.
So I started building something to help with that.
Savd is an iPhone app designed to step in before a purchase happens. Instead of just tracking spending afterward, it helps you pause, understand why you want something, and decide whether to buy it, wait, or Savd it.
I'm not trying to stop people from enjoying their money. I just want to help people spend more intentionally.
We're launching on Product Hunt tomorrow, and I'd genuinely love some feedback from this community.
Curious, do you think an app that interrupts impulse purchases would actually help you, or would you find it annoying?
Excited to hear what you think!
