Unsure why this is a better alternative to Minibar or Drizly or Postmates... Liquor stores "sucking" certainly doesn't feel like a well thought out differentiation.

If Amazon's selection remains this limited, I think DrinkEasy, Saucey, et al still have a shot (pun intended!): "According to the press release, some of the brands included in the Prime Now offering are Bud Light and Veuve Clicquot. The service also includes options from Ohio breweries such as Cleveland’s Great Lakes Brewing Company and Cincinnati’s Rhinegeist and MadTree Brewing."
This is a pretty good service – I used to use it about two years ago until my local liquor store started delivering direct, for free. So, not sure they're really a new product – I guess they've been around about as long as Drizly or Minibar.
They announced another round of financing yesterday...
Does everything suck?
I've tried using them awhile ago! I didn't mind the overpriced champagne, but they closed at 10pm... where most local stores in LA are open until 2am and most of them deliver locally...
