Sakree - Turn new connections into real friendships

by
Most friend-making apps help you meet people. Very few help you actually become friends. Sakree focuses on what happens after you match. Instead of endless chatting or awkward “we should hang sometime” loops, Sakree pairs two people and guides them through a structured 5-week journey. Each week includes simple prompts, shared conversations, and a clear push toward real-life meetups. The goal isn’t more connections — it’s converting one promising connection into a genuine, reliable friendship.

Hey everyone, excited to share Sakree. This came from a pretty simple observation. Most of us can meet people. Work, apps, group chats, whatever. But a lot of those connections don’t turn into anything real. You meet someone, you get along, maybe you text a bit. Then it fades. Not because anything went wrong, but because there is no clear next step. That felt like the actual problem to solve. Most products in this space focus on discovery. Sakree focuses on what happens after you meet someone. When two people match, you are paired and guided through a short, structured experience. There are prompts, small steps, and a push toward actually meeting in person. The goal is to make it easier to go from a good first interaction to something that actually sticks. The idea is not to add more people into your life. It is to help one connection turn into a real friendship. Early on, I tried building this more like a typical friend app. More profiles, more matching. It did not really change outcomes. What made a difference was adding structure and momentum after the match instead of just leaving people to figure it out. Curious how others think about this.
