Super excited to share Safe Yields with you all.
Some backstory: I've been in DeFi since 2020, and the one thing that always frustrated me was how fragmented yield information is. You'd have to check Aave, then Compound, then Curve, then 10 other protocols... by the time you're done, the rates have changed!
**A few interesting discoveries while building this:**
š The yield spread is WILD right now:
- Traditional banks: 0.1-0.5%
- Coinbase: 5%
- Blue-chip DeFi: 8-12%
- Newer protocols: 15-25%
š On safety: I've implemented a risk scoring system based on:
- Total Value Locked (TVL)
- Smart contract audit status
- Protocol age and track record
- Historical exploit data
The site categorizes each opportunity as Low/Medium/High risk so you can make informed decisions.
**Coming soon based on early feedback:**
- Historical yield charts
- Email/Telegram alerts for yields above X%
- Yield calculator (input amount, see potential returns)
- More chains (currently focusing on Ethereum and L2s)
