RunPact - Training plans, 3D race flyovers, and finish predictions

by
Most training apps were built for road runners and stop at the marathon. Ultrarunners stitch together PDFs, spreadsheets, and a GPX viewer that has no idea what 9,000ft of climb does to your pace. RunPact is built ultra-first: 3D flythrough of any GPX, terrain-adjusted pacing, and ML predictions trained on real ultras, adaptive plans you can fork, customize, and share — no $300/mo coach required, Strava + Intervals.icu sync, more on the way. €3/mo. 14-day trial, no card.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Piotr, solo dev behind RunPact. Ultrarunner of the "not fast but stubborn" school. I've been running for 15 years. Since I was never going to win on speed, I went the other way — longer stuff instead. A few ultras over the years, longest one being Bieg Rzeźnika, the legendary 100K through the Polish Bieszczady. Some triathlons. One Ironman. Every time I trained for a race I hit the same wall. Plans scattered all over the internet. No way to configure them. The good ones priced like a personal coach. What I actually wanted was something like the indoor cycling apps I knew from the bike. TrainerRoad style. Pick a plan, give it a few details about your race and your fitness, and boom, start training tomorrow. For ultras, nothing like that existed. So this is my attempt. A few things I think set it apart: - Templates as a starting point, not the ceiling. I'm not a coach, so I seeded the app with templates based on common knowledge of ultra training. But anyone can fork them, edit every phase, session, and volume target, and publish their own version. The best community templates rise to the top via stars. Long-term I'm hoping the community does this part better than I ever could. - First-person race flythrough. I always wanted to feel a course before I ran it. So you can drop in any GPX (or try the Hardrock 100 demo), fly the course in 3D, and get terrain-adjusted pacing plus an ML finish-time prediction trained on real ultra results. - Strava + Intervals.icu sync, so your plan shows up in the tools you already use. More integrations on the way. - €3/month. I was tired of training plans that cost more than my running shoes. Would really love feedback from other self-coached athletes. What's missing for you? — Piotr
