Runervals - Automatically track your running intervals

byβ€’

Runverals is an iOS / Apple Watch app that automatically tracks your running intervals. It uses your accelerometor and GPS to detect when you are running and when you are resting.

We'll track and show you all the important stats divided up by interval.

Hi Product Hunt πŸ‘‹! I'm a lifelong fitness enthusiast, and have been an on-again, off-again runner. I enjoy running, but as I've grown older sometimes I find that my joints often get too sore. I discovered interval running earlier this year, and found that it's a great way to build up my endurance with less joint pain. Turns out it's also a great way to improve your running speed, and is used by a lot of competitive runners. Unfortunately, the existing running apps don't work very well for intervals. They show your total time/distance and average pace, but this doesn't take your rest time into account so the numbers are skewed. I love tracking my stats, so this drove me a little crazy. I had to build something better. The app is free with full functionality for your first 3 runs. If you find it useful and need more that's a subscription ($12 / year). Here's a few coupon codes for a free year: YW4HAJWFL3E9 MERAWAMPFMEH 436A6KKAM3LJ MFLYKR6HR9AN T4J7TKYE7XFW Please comment if you use one so I can mark them off.

@bennoland congrats Ben! I agree that there isn’t really a good interval running app so it’s great to see an option that can automatically track intervals!

Great idea. Love the intervals and the standard apps really lack for support in this type of training. Any plans for Android?
Ben Noland
@danwilliamsltd Thanks Dan, agreed! Sorry, no plans for Android at the moment.
