dashdash (now Rows) - The best data & APIs for business in a spreadsheet

by

dashdash (now Rows) is the spreadsheet with the best data and APIs for business.

It's the easiest way to access online services and build automated tools using the spreadsheet skills you already have.

This could be a very useful and complete tools with a few more feature additions which I am sure the team is already planning to work on/release

Pros:

- The simplicity of streamlining actions and processes - Familiar excel-like interface - Integration possibilities

Cons:

- Could you more functions and features that are often used on Gsheet - Lack of the possibility of collaboration

Jeddi Mees

Love the tool and the team :)

Pros:

This tool Is so powerful. A must-have for all non-tech marketers

Cons:

More templated

Lars Krüger

Nothing to add ;)

Pros:

dashdash is very simple and for us the favorite solution to automate our lead research processes. - simple to use - easy to set up

Cons:

I hope the team will add more integrations like zoho and so on ;)

The automation space is getting hotter and it's really exciting to see no-code tools leading the way. @hayrespereira I'm super excited to try this out but when I replied to the welcome email (which said shoot us a reply) with what I wish to do, the mail bounced. I then realized that the email address itself says no-reply@dashdash.com, which is kinda strange and funny. But I wrote to accounts@ instead. Just curious to know how can others reach you guys to move up the waiting list.

@hayrespereira @dashdash @irhymeth Happy to help! Can you send me the email you used for your signup in a private message, please?
Arpit Choudhury
@hayrespereira @dashdash @torbschulz Nevermind, I have received access!
Alfonso C. Betancort
Great work continue in that line. “Less is More” said someone much more accomplished than I’ll ever be.
Tim Shnaider
Sick of 'Sign up for early access" = you are on a waiting list. Stop with intentional misleading dark UX
Torben Schulz
Hey @timshnaider, thanks for the feedback! There's no intention of dark UX at all. We still need the waiting list unfortunately, and we're working hard to get accounts to users asap.
Tom Blue
sort of a buzzkill with the waiting list - I'm sure you would have gotten a lot more upvotes if approved automatically.
Torben Schulz
Hey @tomblue, thanks for your comment! I can understand. We still need the waiting list in our public beta, but we're working hard to release accounts fast. We also want to get rid of the waiting list asap.
Francisco Rebello de Andrade

Neat! I've already requested an Early Access account. Sounds like it could be great for Sales/Growth Funnel Automation. Will you guys allow Macro functions?

Pros:

Excel + Automation

Cons:

Haven't tried it yet. How are you planning to deal with onboarding?

Henrique Cruz
Thanks for the review! We have an onboarding process that guides the users in building their first apps. Would love to get your feedback once you get a chance to try it. We don't support Macros now, but already support several "advanced programming" like functions such for automations - REPEAT() - data insertion - INSERT(), UPDATE(), PARSE() - and access to web services - GET(), POST(). Do you already have something in mind that you could build with us?

Blockspring

@orliesaurus yes. Since we started this idea in July 2016, we were following Bockspring (and others) operating in the space. It’s a really dynamic new space!
