Rotpitch - Turn any video into a split-screen clip that people watch

by
Making a split-screen clip normally means an editor, a timeline, and 40 minutes. RotPitch takes one upload and returns a finished 9:16 video: your footage stacked on a high-retention background loop, speech transcribed and captions burned in, ready to post. Auto Generate returns 2-5 variants on different backgrounds, so you test which hook lands instead of guessing. No watermark on paid plans, renders in ~12 seconds, one free credit that never expires.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Anand, and I built RotPitch solo. The specific moment you got annoyed enough to build this. e.g. "I spent an hour in CapCut stacking a demo over a Subway Surfers clip, posted it, got 200 views, and realised the editing was the least valuable part of that hour." Here's the part that surprised me. I built this for product demos founders turning their own demo videos into short-form clips. But the pipeline never actually cared what you fed it, and the best-performing outputs my testers made weren't demos at all. They were podcast clips. So I stopped calling it a product-demo tool and repositioned around "any video." Same code, much bigger use case. How it works: upload, pick a background loop, and the worker composites it, transcribes the audio with Whisper, and burns the captions in with libass. Around 12 seconds end to end. Auto Generate does 2-5 variants of one upload on different backgrounds, so you can test which hook lands rather than guessing. It is deliberately not an editor. No timeline, no layers. If you want creative control, this is the wrong tool. One free credit, no card, never expires [free plan watermarks the output]. I'd genuinely like to know where the output looks wrong to you. Post a clip you made and I'll tell you what the pipeline did badly.
