Hi Product Hunt! For the last few months, we have been building RoQR, a privacy-respecting SaaS platform for dynamic QR codes. Dynamic QR codes let the code creator see statistics about the number of scans and update the target that the code links to without changing the code itself. RoQR is different from other dynamic QR code platforms in a few ways: Cost-aligned pricing 💰 All of our plans include our full set of features. The only factor that determines the cost is the number of monthly scans. We think this better aligns our costs with revenues, and makes all of our improvements available to all our customers. Unlike a lot of other companies in the space, we don’t collect any personally identifiable information about the users that scan our codes, we respect Do-Not-Track headers, we don’t use cookies to identify repeat scanners and we don’t offer tracking pixels that track end-users across the web. Our hope with RoQR is to do for QR codes what Plausible.io (big fans!) is doing for website analytics. Thanks, @naveed_rehman! Yes, we're definitely not the first in the space, but we're aiming to be the best :). I think we're different from other sites in a few different ways: - We make all of our features available to all our users on every price plan - the only difference in cost is the amount of scans you get per month. We think this makes for a better experience for all our users, and better aligns our costs with revenue, win-win! - We're obsessive about both analytics and privacy, and are building a product that delivers on both. We want RoQR to be an awesome marketing tool, and also respect the privacy of anyone who scans our codes. - We're building in the open. As far as I know, we're the only open-source QR code platform, which means that anyone can inspect our code and understand how it works.
