Hi Product Hunt, I'm Larbi, the solo builder behind Roleframe.
During my job search, I kept running into the same problem my resume wasn’t showing how my experience fit the jobs I was applying for.
I knew I should tailor it for each role, but I often sent the same version. Finding jobs and applying already took a lot of my energy. Rewriting my resume and fighting with the layout every time was one more task I didn’t have the time for.
Every resume builder I tried felt like another boring form. Small edits were a chore, and I hated worrying about subscriptions renewing when I no longer needed them.
Then I had a system design interview at PandaDoc. They asked me to explain how I would design a document editor. I had never worked on anything like that, and I failed.
I felt bad about it. So I started learning how to build the same kind of editor they have.
When I finished it, I saw a chance to fix a problem I had every day looking for jobs and fighting with resumes.
That's why I built Roleframe, an editor you can control, and one-time Premium passes with nothing to cancel. I wanted it easy enough that nobody loses the time I lost.
What you can use today
Drag-and-drop resume editor: Move sections, change the layout and style the page yourself.
Role workspaces and tailored resumes: Keep a master resume for each role and tailor a copy for each job.
Live checks: Get feedback on the whole resume as you edit, covering content, consistency, missing details, structure and formatting. See where it doesn’t line up with your target role or job requirements.
Remi, your AI career copilot: Ask it to rewrite your resume or cover letter, explain feedback, tailor your application or help you prepare for interviews. You can also talk through job-search and career questions. It uses your resume and target job as context, and you approve suggested document changes.
Job tracker and Chrome extension: Save job postings, track applications in a board or table, and keep the resume, notes and contacts with the job.
Mock interviews: Practice with questions based on your resume and the specific job posting.
Where I want to take Roleframe next
These features are planned and aren’t available yet:
Career knowledge base (planned): Build an evidence-backed knowledge graph of your career, connecting roles, projects, skills, contributions and achievements to sources such as your work history, GitHub repos, articles and portfolio. Remi will retrieve relevant, confirmed facts from this graph for each resume, job or interview. That gives it a deeper understanding of you and helps keep its answers accurate and grounded in your actual experience. Claims remain traceable to their sources, and inferred connections stay separate until you confirm them. You control what’s added, corrected or removed.
Real-time collaboration: Work on the same resume with someone else.
Job board and search companion: Find opportunities inside Roleframe, with AI help identifying roles that fit your experience.
Career map: Explore where you want to go next, identify gaps and find courses and interview practice to help you prepare.
Live interviews: Practice in a live AI conversation informed by your career knowledge base and the job you’re applying for. Questions and follow-ups will adapt to your answers, helping you connect your experience to the role’s requirements. Feedback will map your strengths, surface knowledge gaps and help you build clear answers backed by real examples from your work.
I’d love your feedback: How does the editor feel compared with what you’ve used before? And what’s one thing you wish Roleframe could help you with?
Roleframe has a free plan for building, editing and downloading your resume. If you need Premium features, you pay once for the access period you choose. We don’t offer subscriptions, and we never will. Your pass won’t renew automatically, so there’s nothing to cancel.
For the Product Hunt community, HUNT30 gives 30% off the 3-month Premium pass.
I’m happy to answer questions, including the hard ones.
