I got tired of fighting with resume builders, so I built my own
I kept sending the same resume to different jobs, even when I knew I should tailor it.
Finding jobs and applying already took a lot of energy. I often didn’t have the headspace to rewrite my resume and sort out the layout all over again.
The other resume builders I tried were basically forms: fill in the fields and fit everything into a fixed template. I wanted to move things around myself, and I hated the idea of paying for a subscription that might keep running after I stopped using it.
So I built Roleframe. You can drag sections where you want them, change the layout, and keep a tailored resume for each job. Live checks flag issues as you edit, and Remi, the AI career copilot, helps you rewrite and tailor your applications.
There’s a free plan for building and downloading your resume. Premium is a one-time pass for the access period you choose. It doesn’t renew.
I’m launching here tomorrow, October 21. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through this: what usually slows you down when you tailor your resume for a job?
