I built Roam after noticing how difficult something as simple as making plans had become. Every time my friends and I wanted to go out, we found ourselves switching between Instagram, TikTok, Google Maps, and group chats just to find a place worth visiting. Even after spending all that time searching, the place often didn't live up to expectations. I felt there had to be a better way. That's what inspired me to build Roam, a social discovery app that helps people find places through friends, make plans faster, and spend less time scrolling and more time experiencing the real world.
