Rival Insight - AI that autonomously tracks competitors & sends daily briefs

by
RivalSight flips CI from dashboards to autonomous AI analyst. Unlike Crayon/Klue ($30K+/yr, manual curation needed), it’s $99/mo for SMBs—tracks sites, pricing, jobs, reviews, social, press; delivers noise-free daily briefs + alerts. 95%+ signal-to-noise beats Klue’s 87%. No logins/curations; inbox-native. From my enterprise days, it frees teams from stale data to proactive strategy. Standouts: multi-channel intel, API access, white-label reports.

As a Houston-based tech veteran with decades leading strategy and operations at Fortune 500s like IBM, Microsoft, and Gartner, my inspiration for building Rival Insight came from a career-long frustration: watching teams drown in manual competitive monitoring. At Gartner, advising on enterprise tech and market intel, I saw how even sophisticated companies struggled with stale data, noisy dashboards, and constant curation—leading to missed opportunities and reactive decisions. Sales teams rated preparedness at 3.8/10, with 68% of deals involving rivals, yet tools demanded too much time no small team could spare. I aimed to solve “dashboard fatigue” for founders and SMBs: create an autonomous AI that tracks sites, pricing, jobs, reviews, social, and press, distilling changes into daily briefs with context and real-time alerts—no logins or manual work. My approach evolved during launch. Started with Polsia’s core monitoring for accuracy, testing on real competitors to hit 95%+ signal-to-noise. Beta feedback hated UIs, so I went fully inbox-native. Iterated from basic scans to layered sentiment and hiring intel, adding API access for integrations. What began as a fix for enterprise pains became a $99/mo tool empowering bootstrappers to anticipate rivals without the bloat.
