Rewind - The search engine for your life

Took me about 15 minutes to track down where I had heard about Rewind by downloading my Twitter likes using twitter-to-sqlite and searching that database. It turns out it was from @dsiroker's post on Twitter in August. It's kind of mind blowing that something I saw less than 3 months ago is still so hard to find. We desperately need more steps towards products like Rewind which make our data more accessible with easy to use UIs. It really feels like all of the ML tools available today have brought the technical challenge within grasp. Really glad to see more details and demos of the product and I'm looking forward to use Rewind soon!

Great product….I got a hands-on session/onboarding with Brett and really loved the user experience. Solves one of my biggest problems which I face daily #remember-stuff. With Rewind I can focus more on actual tasks and not waste time behind searching and getting lost in tabs. Compression tech used is great…can’t wait to start using. Scribe AI for meetings was already dope, but as a huge fan of using Windows Timeline to maintain flow on big projects across time (and as someone who seriously looked into building their own tool to replace it after it sunsets) being able to use the new features in Rewind early was amazing in the classical sense of the word. From the feedback of the team to the UX to privacy controls to how damned quickly it performs OCR and adds it to its index (locally! while being performant as all hell!) I'm confident that A) I won't be missing the Timeline at all B) my macbook is easily going to become my main computer for admin work & research and C) I can see this team making Rewind an indispensable tool for maintaining flow and productivity in a world of increasingly shorter attention spans. Genuinely enjoyed seeing how much care and consideration has been put into building it and can't wait to see where they go from here.

I've only been beta testing Rewind for about a few months now and it's already saved me from my terrible memory on a couple different occasions! I'm constantly amazed at how fast it is and how little storage / processing power it takes.

This is impressive, I'm looking forward to seeing how your story progresses!
