Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Richard, the founder of ResumeAlign AI — and I built this because I kept watching talented people lose out on jobs they were genuinely qualified for, not because of their skills, but because of their process. Here's the problem I kept seeing: Job alerts land in your inbox. You open a few, maybe apply to one or two. But by the time you've read the posting, tailored your resume, formatted it, and submitted — the role has been open for two days and the hiring manager is already scheduling first-round interviews. You weren't underqualified. You were just late. ResumeAlign flips the process: Connect the email account where your job alerts land (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo — all supported) Set your matching criteria — roles, industries, keywords, location ResumeAlign reads every incoming job alert, pulls the full job description, and scores each role against your career profile When there's a strong match, your tailored, ATS-safe resume is one click away — ready in seconds The product is live, free to start, and I've been building it with a small group of early users for the past few months. The feedback has pushed the product in directions I didn't expect — the three-score system (match score → profile score → resume score) came directly from users asking "but how do I know if I'm actually a good fit before I apply?" I'd love to hear what you think. If you're in an active job search, give it a try and tell me what breaks. If you're a recruiter or hiring manager, I'm curious how this looks from your side of the table. Happy to answer anything in the comments. 🙏

Ok, I gave this a try - in less than 5 minutes I had job matches and a customized resume for each one. This is going to save me LOADS of time and help me weed out the jobs that aren't a good match more quickly.

Worth the paid version - you get .DOC downloads you can easily tweak if needed AND the connector function to pull jobs in automatically from your email alerts from Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.

Well done!

I'm really impressed and I'm only minutes in. I uploaded my most recent resumes and confirmed a few details. Then, it immediately walked me through how to generate new options and apply.

I'm now adding all the extra details it can use and am watching new formats pop out with completely different keywords and options for submitting to companies. My background goes across product, marketing, biz dev, and multiple industries, so having something customize all that per job is a life saver.

This is amazing. I'm stoked to have it start notifying me of new jobs as they hit the market without doing the rat race across multiple apps to try and always be first!
