Repodex uses AI to automatically identify errors and generates code to fix them. The main goal is to alleviate code maintenance (tech debt, refactors, bugs) so that your team can focus on what matters most - delivering features for your users.
🚀 Introducing Repodex!
Hey Product Hunters! I'm Marcus, a software engineer with a decade of experience in both hands-on coding and team leadership.
Pain Point: Code maintenance is a beast—bugs, refactors, tech debt—it's a drag and pulls engineers away from what truly matters: delivering new features to users.
Solution: I built Repodex to give teams the power to:
🧐 Scan their codebase at every level—directories, files, classes, functions.
🔍 Detect bugs, optimization areas, security issues, and documentation gaps.
🤖 Automatically generate fixes and create pull requests.
What's More?
Boost your team's Dev experience with pull request reviews.
Seamless Slack integration. Get instant answers:
- "How does X work within our system?"
- "Can you help me decode this stacktrace?"
- "There's an error on feature Y, can you address it?"
Perfect for both technical and non-technical team members.
Languages Supported: Java, Python, Javascript, Bash, HTML, CSS. (More coming soon!)

Alleviating code maintenance pains is a big deal. What types of programming languages and frameworks is Repodex compatible with, and can it handle a variety of codebases?
@ricardo_luz Hey Ricardo! I completely agree, it was something that ate up a lot of my time as an engineer. Currently Repodex only supports python, java, javascript, bash, HTML, and CSS. Support for more language will be added in the near future! If you have a language request I'm happy to bump it higher on the priority
@bryan_bautistaa Thank you! That's exactly the vision we had for Repodex - The goal is to make it feel like you have a remote employee on the other end of a slack conversation!
@oanacita Thanks a lot! We're constantly aiming to improve. Are there any features you'd love to see in the future or things you believe would make your experience even better?
