Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm the solo developer behind RemindAlarm. I originally built this app because I kept ignoring normal alarms and reminders on my phone. After a while they just become background noise. I started experimenting with something different: reminders that show a photo and play a voice message when they trigger. For example: A reminder pops up with a photo of your child and their voice saying: “Don't forget my candy.” It turns out emotional cues like faces and voices are much harder to ignore than a generic alarm sound. I'm the solo developer of RemindAlarm.

I built it after realizing I had become completely blind to ordinary reminder notifications.

Instead of another text notification, RemindAlarm can display a full-screen photo and optionally play your own voice recording.

Since launch I've continued improving the app based on user feedback. The newest update introduces Reminder Preview Mode, making it much easier to browse and review saved reminders before editing them.
