Relay is the payments and billing layer for AI agents. It gives each agent a deposit address, prepaid balance, API key, and auditable ledger, so it can buy tokens, pay for paid AI services, and keep operating without manual top-ups. It supports fixed-price billing, reserve-then-settle flows, and USDC deposit crediting.

Built this because most “AI agents” still depend on a human keeping the balance topped up. That means they are not really autonomous. They can reason, call tools, and run workflows, but they still can’t pay for their own inference, services, or continued operation. Relay is the infra layer for that missing piece: - dedicated deposit address per account - prepaid balance + API key - billing for agent-facing service calls - reserve-then-settle support - auditable ledger - USDC top-up flow The idea is simple: if an agent cannot pay, it cannot survive on its own. Would love feedback on the product framing: Should this be thought of as agent payments infra, agent billing infra, or the first financial operating layer for autonomous agents?
